I have a collection of Original Francis Wainwright oil paintings. They include Freddie the Clown amongst a collection of 20 Various original paintings. I am interested to know if anyone Has seen these go to auction recently and there value. They are large oil paintingd. I know there are a lot of prints widely available so he must have been very popular. Francis was a family friend so we also have signed sketch books as well.

Hello.. Francis Wainwright has only two references in the Davenport's Art Reference and Price Guides . One work in acrylic for 635.00 and one painting that did not sell at auction. The work mentioned was 22x35.
It sounds like you have a nice collection and I would suggest you seek an art appraisal for understanding the possible value of your paintings.
Thanks for asking a question and I hope I have helped you, As always mine is just one antique dealers opinion.
Best of Luck, Robbay
